MCOG is committed to keeping the community informed and engaged about the Sea Level Rise Roadway Impact Study as it evolves. Outreach events are listed on this page along with links to all outreach materials.

Recent and Upcoming Outreach

MCOG hosted two in-person community workshops and one virtual workshop in March 2026 to provide an overview of the study and gather community input on roadway locations that should be prioritized for further analysis. Feedback received through the two workshops and community survey helped inform selection of the five priority locations now moving forward for detailed evaluation.

We anticipate releasing the Feasibility Study in Winter 2026 that will include the preferred adaptation method for each of the five final roadway segments. This will be presented at a MCOG Board of Directors meeting.
